This portrait of a wahine to a (courageous woman) is a call to the hero's journey, to become the hero of one's own myth. The woman is surrounded by both Western tradition and ancient Māori tradition. There is both defiance and incorporation of Western and Māori cultural influences.

She has so much aroha for Unity and a passion for highlighting Māori talent. It’s time to get to know Tania a little better…

Unity is proud to partner with a talented artist, carver, ta moko designer from Taranaki, Aotearoa. Rangi Kipa holds a special place in the heart of Unity Collection's owner Tania Rupapera as he's a lifelong friend of many talents and a proud godparent to Tania's son, Wiremu.
